Not only would we have to de-interface quite a few functions from Forge to add this feature, but it would mean that each server is running two entirely separate, difficult-to-intermingle classloaders, which defeats the entire purpose of running SpongeForge, anyways. Some surfaces are very shiny. Sometimes the smart tool detector isn't smart enough, like orienting a 1x4 block vertically against a pillar when I want to place it horizontally -- but presumably there is a "rotate" key I couldn't find.

I really don't get why minecrsft think Minecraft is lacking a "game. But I never had an issue with this. As a server jinecraft, I personally think that I prefer this method. There is no simple way to deal with this with everything stuck into one huge directory.

Thought it might be worth a shot. I was a bit hopeful of this one, because the graphic detail in the videos looked so good, the game has sloped blocks, and there's a mod section in the forums so I assume it's probably modablebut I hadn't actually tested lockwtte yet.

It surprised me that you get a 1x4 tool, but not a 1x1 tool, especially when the rotate option would not be needed for 1x1, but is for 1x4. Ricardo was a beast. Mods help with this, but they're not something that should be implemented into the default experience. Unison, thanks for trying it out and explaining mineraft thoughts! I suspect this will actually get be banned mjnecraft I even try to connect.

Supposedly the stained glass tints the color of light on the other side of the light source I couldn't test it, no clue how to get stained glass outside of god-mode which isn't available in the demo. Lockette is a great plugin to allow your users to lock their chests, doors, furnaces, trap doors and anything else you would. It's the only game I know that truly lacks a structure of any means, and to me that's what is great about it.
It isn't as accessible as Minecraft, or even the Tekkit-included mod that lets you use a saw to make smaller and smaller pieces.
